Angela Harmon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s and Education Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Harding University. She graduated and began practicing in 2017. She believes that each person who comes into her office deeply matters and the unique story they carry is important. She has a passion for joining alongside those experiencing the impacts of anxiety, depression, traumatic events, relational wounding, and self-esteem issues with an intention of working to empower them to discover their inner strength and compassion for their own authentic self. She specializes in working with adult females as well as adolescents and children. She has completed training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (level I-Treatment of Trauma & level II- Developmental Injury), Brainspotting (phase I & II), and Advanced TF-CBT. Most recently, she completed her Level II training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP); an integrative somatic, emotional, and cognitive approach used to address post-traumatic responses or attachment issues held in the body. This empowering body-centered approach aims to treat the somatic symptoms of unresolved trauma that impact daily functioning. A core desire in her collaborative work with clients is creating a safe space to restore hope, courage, peace within the body, and a sense of self-worth to allow room for lasting growth and healing. “The key to healing is not just knowing what happened but transforming how the mind, body, and soul still remember it.
